Bibles in School
In public schools the word of God is seldom used, they do have groups like bible group and FCA. Is that enough? Why are schools so afraid of the Bible? Are they eventually going to take it out all together?
When I was in Middle School, my friend got sent to the office for talking about his religious beliefs. They told him that it was not allowed or tolerated. I understand that not everyone believes in God, but is it okay for them to tell him to keep his beliefs hidden?
God commands us to praise him and every way we possibly can, so who has the right to tell us otherwise? More and more kids are getting strayed away from any belief or faith, more and more families are being torn apart because of drugs and violence.
All we have any more is faith, faith that things will get better. Also the belief that something bigger then us awaits when we are no longer on this earth. They do have Bible Club, but is that enough to inspire young impressionable minds, to let them know that they are apart of something bigger than this.
If schools don't stand behind the teaching of the Bible then how can they expect those kids who see violence and drugs become anything other then what this world has already showed them. I understand that believing is a choice, but how can they have the choice to believe in anything if they are not told about the options they have?
These times are worse for kids, suicide, depression, sex, and drugs, that's their world anymore. Can something be done to prevent this, could the teachers try harder rather then just give up? I know that the teachers are trying, but are they trying hard enough to get through to these kids?
I hope that the schools and teachers will one day see that the Bible is needed, these kids are troubled enough and they don't believe in much. They need options, choices and faith, the schools could give them that, if they tried that is.
This world seems hopeless and dim, but that doesn't mean their isn't any hope. If we believe in something or anything for that fact, then there is always hope!
EDUCATION FOR ALL
It doesn't matter how old you are, EDUCATION is for all of us. Pick up a book and read or take a night class, they have things called pell grants and loans. In the long run it will help you in life, so consider it and take a chance on life!
Poetry
Poetry is like a story, though it can be short and more personal. In theory most people think that poetry has to rhyme, this not quite the truth. Though it sounds better when you make it rhyme, it doesn't not have to. poetry is about whats in your heart and mind ( I bet you thought I was going to say soul).
Poetry is an art in a manner of speaking as is writing or photography. Writing.com is a place that you can get your work out there for many authors or readers to see it. They are helpful, with their critiques, but that is how you learn and become a better writer or poet.
Here is a poem that I had wrote myself:
UNTOLD PROMISES
As I walked along the beach I could see
the sun shimmering in the waters reflection.
I could feel the breeze blowing in my hair,
I could hear whispering of untold promises
in my ear.
My heart started racing, my reflection started
glowing of a women who figured out of stories untold.
That is until I realized, it was my promises to myself
that were the promises untold.
Promises that only my heart and soul could possibly
know. I had forgotten them like a mere dream in the
night.
I had forsaken them with nothing more than mere
memories hidden in a treasure chest, to precious to
let go of, but to unimportant to remember.
I will never forget that day though, the day that my
heart and soul spoke of the untold promises I had
made.
literature
Literature is a requirement in school, they call it English. In my opinion it is a good learning skill, It helps you learn words by using vocabulary. It helps you read and learn to write sentences, it also helps your imagination without reading, but with writing.
Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors, he wrote A Walk To Remember. Of course I watched the movie first, which had Mandy Moore and Shane West in it. The movie was so wonderful I was inspired to read the book. The book was a lot more interesting because they had so much more details in it.
Many books are being made into movies now. There was one book I liked, It was called A Sound Of Thunder. It was in my 10th grade Literature book, it was about a guy that went into the past with a time machine type thing. He was with a group, They took him to hunt a dinosaur that was getting ready to die anyways. The guy got scared and took off down the path, but he fell off the path and killed a butterfly. In doing so he threw off the balance of things and The hunters in the end killed him, the movie aired on SyFy.
My last advice is check out the books first, then see how interesting the movie really is.

Books By Nicholas Sparks
A WALK TO REMEMBER
A walk to remember is a story about a girl with leukemia that changes a (bad boy) life. She is driven for christ and she thinks its her mission to help him become a better person. The movie which was based on the book A WALK TO REMEMBER has most similarities, they are both a most!
Watch the movie first and you will most definitely want to read the book by this wonderful author. This book is not only about religion, but family and friends too. It's also about the struggles of finding yourself, don't miss out on this epic romance.
The boy from the wrong side of the tracks, meets angelic girl. As he learns more about her, he realizes theres more to life then he knew. It shows how mistakes happen and you can learn from them, so have that learning experience that Nicholas Sparks gives you in A WALK TO REMEMBER.
THE NOTEBOOK
I must claim this book is definitely for women and teens. It's another wonderful and romantic story about a couple that beat all odds. They were in love and even though the odds were against them as well as the world, they finally got the chance to be together.
If you do not want to read the book at least watch the movie, you may change your mind. This author really knows how to romance the ladies, All I can say is he is a brilliant man and his work really is inspiration.
Read his work or watch the movies and let me know what you think it, you may be surprised in how great his work really is!
THE LAST SONG
I have unfortunately not seen or read The Last Song, but it is on my to do list! From the previews I had seen on TV when it was first coming out, it looked as though it was a family struggling to find forgiveness for one another.
If you have seen it tell me what you think, I would like to hear whether or not you think it's a good movie or book for that matter!
I hope that you will think about reading some of this authors books, they are really interesting and so good that it's hard to put the book down once you start reading.
***NOTE***
Unfortunately those are the only books I have read of his work, but I do plan to read a lot of his material. Books make you smart so pick one up and read, whether it's educational or not it makes you think a lot more then the TV will.

In My Skin
Normal Teens
The ordinary teens are not glitzy and fabulous, but they are real. Teens are already pressured, their appearance should not be something they should be ashamed of! Blemishes to pimples, it's a part of growing up.
Your perfect the way you are so don't change, eating health is not a bad thing. Even if you don't it's on the inside that counts, our bodies are forever changing so make the best of what you got and don't let anyone tell you, your less for who you are.
Celebrity Teens
Celebrity teens are all about the Glitz, in their fabulous outfits and stylish hair styles. Are these teens too worried about their image rather then the important stuff? Like family and friends, love, laughter? What kind of message are they sending to their viewers?
Younger girl's are pressured everyday to be young and thin, so what exactly is the message that TV and Magazine's are sending to their viewers?
More and more girls are dieting and trying to fit into that size 4 dress, they are at that awkward age that they want to look great and be noticed. Unfortunately the bars are set very high, Most girls you see on TV or Modeling are size 4 and under. Which makes me wonder how is their health and do they actually eat?
These are only questions that I wonder about, it may not have anything to do with dieting. Maybe they exercise a lot or maybe they have high matabolisms.
The only ones that can answer these questions are the Celebrities themselves.
HAPPY IN YOUR OWN SKIN
You may think your less of a woman or not as pretty if you don't look like the women in the magazines or on TV. I am here to tell you it doesn't, yeah models and actresses are pretty, but you have something that they don't; Freedom!
You don't have to worry about all the pressures that they have, the paparazzi following you around or the tabloids telling your inner most secrets or flaws. So don't be fooled by all the glam, they are people just like you and me.
Unfortunately for them they don't always know whose really their friends or whose using them to get some camera time.
So be happy with what you have and not with what you don't. My advice to you is hold your head high and smile for your life isn't as bad as you may think!
Animal Abuse
Many things can be considered as animal abuse:
1) not feeding the animal or letting it starve
2) beating an animal to death
3) letting your animals fight each other
Animal Abuse is not permitted anywhere in the United States, though it happens just as much as child abuse. Animals can be dangerous after they had been abused, they can be a threat to people and even be trained killers.
That is only some cases, like anything it depends on the extend of the abuse. Not feeding an animal may make them vicious and angry, in some cases they may even attack humans. In other cases animals may end up lovable despite what they had been through, There is hope for them, but some of them may have to live in the streets or die.
It's sad, but it's the cold hard facts. Animals don't always get the love they deserve or need, so they survive the best way they know how, by using their animal instincts. Also Animal Shelters are over ran and there are not enough people to adopt pets.
If you want to save an animal go to your local Animal Shelter and adopt a pet today, you could be the only one that helps them live.
Relationships
Relationships are suppose to be based on trust and love, but sometimes you find yourself in quite a different situation. My ex seemed nice enough, I also thought that he would be more mature because he was eight years older then me, I was wrong. Around other people he acted nice and sweet, sometimes he was.
I worked with him and that was one thing I was worried about, especially when he started getting possessive. I knew I should had broke it off then, but my mom thought I was being my stubborn self. Which I guess was partly true or at least I thought. Things were rocky, but he knew how to be the sweetest guy in the world. Too bad it was just an act, he started calling me names and putting me down.
He would get jealous if I talked to an old friend or got on Myspace, he would tell me the only reason to be on a web site would be to cheat on him. He got to where he would break dates to hang out with his friend. If I broke a date he would ask me a million questions of where have I been and what have I done. Also I couldn't go anywhere with my family, he was suspicious of me all the time. I was worried about hurting his feelings, well after a year and a half we broke up.
He asked me five times to marry him and I said yes, but he didn't mean it. He told me that he couldn't afford to get me an engagement ring, but then he turned around and bought a seven-hundred dollar bow. I asked him how he could afford to buy a bow and not a ring ( the ring I wanted was only one-hundred and fifty dollars) talk about your priorities.
I told him I was sick of feeling dead last on his priorities, so he told me it was over. He said that it was all my fault that it was over, because I would cuss him (only after he cussed me). That I was bossy and pushy (I am a little pushy, but within reason).
I was actually relieved when he called it quits, That was not a good relationship and who knows what would have happened later on.
Here's my advice to you: "If he starts calling you names, putting you down. It would be a good time to break up, relationships are based on trust and love. Sometimes you only think it's love, when really all it is, is a prison! I'm not saying don't leap in with faith and give him total trust, but don't let him control you, it will most likely only get worse and you deserve better then that".
family is 4-ever
Adoption
What is "Family" anyways? It is a question that I have wondered about many times. Family doesn't necessarily have to be related, they don't have to have the same blood as you either. Family is deeper and thicker then blood! They are the people who love you and take care of you, not for money, but for the fact that they care about you, as simple as that.
Anyone can be related to you, but it's the love that you give and receive that makes you a family. Yes you will always have a biological inconvenience, but don't let that get you down. You may not have grown up with the best life, you know in your heart that anyone can have a child, though it's the love that helps that child grow up to be an extraordinary human being.
Even if your a foster child, it doesn't mean your not loved. In fact it makes you the chosen one, you were the one that parents chose to love. It makes you wonderful in so many ways, because even though they are not biologically your parents they chose to love and care for you.
My last words in regard to what I had just said are: " Love is internal and Family is Forever".
