Bibles in School

In public schools the word of God is seldom used, they do have groups like bible group and FCA. Is that enough? Why are schools so afraid of the Bible? Are they eventually going to take it out all together?

When I was in Middle School, my friend got sent to the office for talking about his religious beliefs. They told him that it was not allowed or tolerated. I understand that not everyone believes in God, but is it okay for them to tell him to keep his beliefs hidden?

God commands us to praise him and every way we possibly can, so who has the right to tell us otherwise? More and more kids are getting strayed away from any belief or faith, more and more families are being torn apart because of drugs and violence.

All we have any more is faith, faith that things will get better. Also the belief that something bigger then us awaits when we are no longer on this earth. They do have Bible Club, but is that enough to inspire young impressionable minds, to let them know that they are apart of something bigger than this.

If schools don't stand behind the teaching of the Bible then how can they expect those kids who see violence and drugs become anything other then what this world has already showed them. I understand that believing is a choice, but how can they have the choice to believe in anything if they are not told about the options they have?

These times are worse for kids, suicide, depression, sex, and drugs, that's their world anymore. Can something be done to prevent this, could the teachers try harder rather then just give up? I know that the teachers are trying, but are they trying hard enough to get through to these kids?

I hope that the schools and teachers will one day see that the Bible is needed, these kids are troubled enough and they don't believe in much. They need options, choices and faith, the schools could give them that, if they tried that is.

This world seems hopeless and dim, but that doesn't mean their isn't any hope. If we believe in something or anything for that fact, then there is always hope!
